Meet the teacher!
Hello! My name is Sarah Hofmann. I have one daughter and also have a son on the way. I graduated from College of the Ozarks with my Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Music Education. While attending there I was involved in many music ensembles including the concert band, orchestra and chapel choir. This is my third year teaching music and technology at Taneyville. I love teaching and sharing my joy of music with all of my students! My favorite part of teaching is helping students find their hidden talents and discover how to use them!

6th Grade Harmony Project:
The 6th graders have been learning about harmony and how it is used to make music more interesting. For this project, we talked about the most common chords that are used (especially in pop music!) The students were asked to create a composition using these common chords in music chrome lab (a website on Google). They also learned about melody and how it fits into the chords.
