Time Commitment
The season lasts from October through April.
Meets
Practices are optional. They are held after school Monday through Thursday for one hour. (must attend a minimum of three practices to be eligible for tournament)
Procedure for Joining
To be a member of the Academic Team, you must submit a teacher recommendation letter.
Description
The Academic Team participates in Jeopardy style tournaments with teams of four.
Expectations
A student must attend practices and tournaments outside of school hours.
Academic Team Sponsor
Academic Bowl competition at Branson JH in May resulted in a 2nd place win for our team and a tie for 1st with most buzzer responses (Kenzie Calhoun)!
