Mathletes

Mathletes is a program for our most avid math students.

We meet weekly to work on problem solving and all sorts of math "stuff" in order to prepare for area math competitions.

Last year, we competed in several math contests.

At the MCTM contest, held at Hollister school last December, one of our sixth graders placed individually and the 7th grade team also placed.

We also did the MATHCOUNTS competition at Drury University in Springfield.

The 7th and 8th graders competed in a competition at CofO, too.

One 7th grade team brought home a trophy and our whole team placed 5th!

Anyone in grades 5-8 with at least a B average in math class can be a part of the Mathletes Team. (Not all will compete due to limited team sizes.)
